VMedia Channel Guide | Toronto & GTA
Complete listing of all channels for VMedia subscribers in Toronto and GTA. This channel guide is organized by channel number and colour coded by genre. Includes 307 TV stations in total, all of which are HD quality (720p or higher). Our VMedia channel guide is available as a free PDF for download. Once downloaded, finding channels is easy by using your PDF viewer’s “search field”.
It is important to know that despite “cutting the cord” with a VMedia IP (internet protocol) TV subscription, live stations are still available. This includes the major TV networks such as NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX, as well as the Canadian ones (CBC, CTV, Global, City TV).
Notable TV Channels
VMedia offers a whopping 307 live channels which is well above that for other streaming services like YouTube TV and Roku. In addition to the major networks mentioned above, below is a snippet of other popular channels. Although most major sporting networks are available (NBA, MLB, NFL), NHL Network notably is not. However, Leafs Nation Network is available for Toronto Maple Leaf fans [GoBudsGo!]. For our print-friendly listing of VMedia Sports Stations, please go here.
AMC | Disney Junior | Leafs Nation | NFL Network |
BBC Earth | Documentary Channel | Love Nature | OLN |
BNN Bloomberg | beIN Sports | MLB Network | OWN Oprah |
Crave 1-4 | GINX eSports | MTV | Paramount Network |
Discovery Channel | HBO 1-2 | Much | Peachtree |
Discovery Science | HGTV | Nat Geo and Wild | Starz 1-2 |
Disney Channel | Hollywood Suites | NBA TV | Super Channel |
Channel Counts by Genre
Of the 307 channels offered by VMedia, 33 are sports, 20 are movie channels (including HBO 1-2, Crave 1-4, Starz 1-2 and Super Channel suite) and 131 are international (my fav is “Chardikla Time” on channel 803 simply because of its great name). When compared to other streaming TV providers, the channel count for VMedia is well above average, however, it is less so than what Rogers and Bell media offer. The main advantage of VMedia over these big providers is lower overall cost.
